A Lazy April Morning
An abstruse symphony
of sunshine and peace
orchestrate their moves,
fusing into one—
creating a summer zephyr
on a lazy April morning
rushing in through my window,
romancing with the room,
leapfrogging onto my closet
teasing me in the mirror,
sketching my silhouette
with a gleaming reality
springing up —
in the most surprising of places
to tease my beliefs
and twirl them in the veering wind,
to sow new dreams,
new thoughts
new feelings—
so that the memories of today
stay with me
for the rest of my life
